The MGen 1.75" downhole generator is part of the Moorfield Power and Generator Systems, providing a power solution to oil service companies and operators.

MGen provides an alternative solution to the current downhole power sources from either lithium battery packs or cable from surface.

MGen employs a system where it extras hydraulic power from fluid flow in the form of a rotating sleeve and converts it into electrical power, and because it does not does not incorporate any rotating seals it is al together a more robust and reliable solution.

MGen out power can be delivered regulated or unregulated and used as direct replacement for current power sources or used as the main power source with battery backup for periods when there is no fluid flow.

MGen has the option to output power on both the upper and lower connection with an additional twelve electrical connections from top to bottom.
